Community is the soil and we are the seed.

‍ ‍

When we practice together, we tap into a collective energy that uplifts while deepening our connection to a consistent personal practice. We take a curious, non-judgemental look at our own struggles while supporting each other’s ability to see the way through them.

By centering gentleness, curiosity, and respect, I hope participants experience the value of exploring and sharing their own insights and challenges.

Each 45-minute session. session includes basic instruction, guided meditation and time for discussion on topics related to establishing a personal practice.

*Sessions are open to all levels of experience, including none!

Though not required for registration, donations of any amount are appreciated.

I am deeply grateful for Sammy’s kind voice expressing a kind way of thinking. Her energy has been lifting me up for years. For me, Sammy has been like a mountain of a ship with a wonderful, lovely, still, yet vibrant presence.

Everywhere But here

This course offers an introduction to meditation, mindfulness practice, and the benefits of cultivating a personal practice of one’s own.

Each session includes seated practice, basic instruction, and time for open discussion. Our primary focus will be mindfulness meditation with the intention of developing steadiness, resilience, and clarity of mind.

The over arching intention of this course is to offer a supportive and welcoming environment in which each participant, whether newer to practice or more “seasoned,” feels inspired to share their own insights and discoveries.

Therefore, sessions are not recorded.

Instead, we choose to show up LIVE for ourselves and each other. In this way, we tap into a collective energy that supports and inspires each of us to embrace who we already are and how we are feeling may that be restless, bored, tired and the like.

What’s Included:

  • 5 Weekly ZOOM sessions (total of 5 hours)

  • 1- 30 minute ZOOM call to discuss any missed session and/or further support student experiences and/or discoveries about the practice. (Optional)

  • 1 Weekly mini-audio meditation recording (from me!) to support personal practice in-between sessions.

  • Email communication at the participant’s direction.

    What To Bring:

  • Your curiosity.

  • A comfortable seat.

  • How To Sit by Thich Nhat Hanh (not required but strongly suggested)

This course is open to both beginner and experienced meditators and pets are always welcome in our Zoom room!

Sammy introduced me to mindfulness meditation. It’s been wonderful to practice focusing on my breath and take in a moment. I find I am able to be just a little less reactive when things are coming at me.
